Hey there, I'm Courtney Rae.

Professionally, I'm an award-winning journalist with more than 12 years experience; I currently freelance from home in Central New York. I was the former associate publisher of editorial for Scotsman Media Group and editor-in-chief of Today's CNY Woman magazine in Syracuse and previously held positions at performing arts publications in Manhattan. I have served as the board president for the Syracuse City Ballet and currently volunteer with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in honor of my late mother. I also managed the print and online production of Beyond the Underground: Aunt Harriet, Moses of Her People, a 90,000-word nonfiction project written by descendants of Harriet Tubman.
